PROJECT HIGHLIGHT

CSIRO Belmont
1 Henry Street, Belmont

Rafferty the Wrecker undertook the demolition of 19 buildings across the former CSIRO Textile and Fibre Technology Laboratory site in Belmont, covering 6.2 hectares. Works included asbestos removal, demolition of laboratories, offices and warehouses, removal of roads, foundations and underground services, and remediation of contaminated soil. Dust, noise and vibration monitoring, site security and vehicle wash-down measures supported the controlled delivery of works and preparation of the site for future residential development.
