Rafferty the Wrecker undertook demolition works across multiple properties at 8–12 Punt Road and 3 Wellington Street, St Kilda. The scope included the complete demolition of a four-level building with basement structures, a double-storey building with parapet and signage, a standalone double-storey building, and adjoining residential units. Demolition included foundations and designated paving and fencing, with the southern basement wall along Wellington Street retained and propped.

Boundary walls were carefully demolished by hand and with small machinery, including separation of walls adjoining neighbouring buildings to remain. The project also involved hazardous materials removal, together with scaffold and gantry installations, service isolations, demolition permits, dilapidation reporting and temporary site fencing. Extensive traffic and pedestrian management arrangements were required across Punt Road, Wellington Street and Nelson Street to facilitate the works and protect surrounding properties and public access.
