Rafferty the Wrecker undertook demolition of a two-storey office and warehouse building at 48 A'Beckett Street, Melbourne. The scope included complete building demolition, with a combination of hand and mechanical methods used to remove the roof and structural framework. Boundary brick walls were carefully demolished by hand where required.

The works also included installation of full-height scaffolding along the front and eastern sides of the building, demolition of ground slabs and foundations to 1.5 metres below ground level, and removal of all demolition rubble and waste from the site. The methodology accommodated the requirements for working alongside adjoining properties and within the surrounding urban environment.
